Close the application if it is running.
Locate the application in Finder and select it. Then click “Get info” in the “File” menu.
In the ensuing window, find a checkbox named “Open in 32 Bit Mode”.
Ensure the box is checked if you want the application to run in 32 bit mode, or unchecked if you want the application to run in 64 bit mode.
NB: If the checkbox is not present, it means the application can only run in its native mode (which could be either 32 or 64 bit).
The setting will be taken into account the next time you start the application.
