The Delta-Link was a MADI interface for Pro Tools HD that mimicked the operation of four 192 IO.
Each DigiLink connection provides 32 channels, for a total of 64.
This firmware updater was developed for Windows XP 32 bit, the current OS at the time of the Delta-Link launch. You must have a 32 bit OS to do the update. It is unlikely to work on 64 bit OS versions like Windows 10, but you are welcome to try.
Specifications, Compatibility, & Information
A wordclock source must be connected to the Delta-Link.
DigiLink cables cannot exceed 6 feet if running V1 firmware.
12 feet is the maximum DigiLink cable length on all Delta-Link versions.
You will need a DigiLink to Mini DigiLink adapter or cable to connect to HDX.
Delta-Link V2 firmware has been tested with Pro Tools Native, HDX 10, 11, and 12, and earlier versions of Pro Tools.
All functions operate and we are not aware of compatibility issues.
Some versions of Pro Tools require an Avid DigiLink IO license. Depending on your Avid plan you may have a license. Please contact Avid for further details on their licensing.
