With the release of OS 10.15 Catalina, Apple have discontinued support for 32 bit applications. This may impact compatibility between your workstation and SSL hardware. Please consult the following list for further information before upgrading your OS.
Delta Control Plugins – COMPATIBLE
The latest versions of Delta Control plugins are compatible with Mac OS Catalina if you had them ona previous installation of Mac OS. If you are installing a fresh copy then you will need to allow the install within the security preferences. Use the following link to help with this.
Delta Link – COMPATIBLE
Please note that for Pro Tools HD 12.6 or higher, you will require a DigiLink I/O iLok license from www.avid.com, and the latest V2.00 Delta Link firmware.
ipMIDI - COMPATIBLE
You must be running ipMIDI V1.7 for compatibility with Mac OS Catalina. This is available from the downloads section in the My Products page in your SSL account. Alternatively, you can download it directly from the Nerds.de website here: http://nerds.de/en/download.html.
Sigma Remote – COMPATIBLE
V2.1/33 of the Sigma Remote application is compatible with Mac OS Catalina.
Sigma – COMPATIBLE
While Sigma is compatible with Mac OS Catalina, with some hardware configurations it is necessary to connect a network switch between the Sigma and the Mac. SSL Engineers are currently investigating the issue further.
SSL Native Plug-ins – COMPATIBLE
The V6 release of SSL Native plug-ins is compatible with Mac OS Catalina. Please note that compatibility is subject to DAW version.
